MZ automation is thrilled to announce that in the next few weeks, we will be releasing our latest product: the IEC61850 ICD Designer.
Our developers have been working diligently since the beginning of the year to bring you this robust, user-friendly tool, designed specifically for creating and modifying ICD files. It enables users to generate data models and ICD files from scratch or modify and extend existing ICD files and other SCL files. The tool provides the capability to add and edit data type templates in accordance with the NSD document version and revision. It also facilitates the configuration of Headers, Communication parameters, Control Blocks, Data Sets, Logical Node parameter values, and more, often through simple drag-and-drop operations.
Additionally, the ICD Designer includes Error/Warning messages related to Model Integrity, Schema, and NSD integrity in compliance with IEC 61850 standards. It not only offers an intuitive user interface for configuring ICD files but also provides robust features for creating a wide range of data type templates within the IEC 61850 protocol.
